Well, since I don't have a boat, and my friend that does was at work, I just went down to the end of Point Mason Rd. again and fished off the bank on Sunday.
The water has risen quite a bit since the previous weekend. I took my girlfriend with me. We caught 12 fish. Still no catfish, but those 3-5 pound drum put up a pretty good fight. I had two big ones break my line, on 2 different poles.
I've seen alot of vehicles down at the spillway, I guess they are catching the crappie pretty consistently over there. I'll have to take off of school a day or two and go down there for a while. I'm sort of saving my skip days for turkey hunting, though. Maybe on Senior skip day I'll see how the crappie are biting.
