Many of you have heard the low weighins the last couple of weeks. The fall topwater action has not turned on yet and many anglers are left scratching their head. If any of you are or would like to visit Ky Lake the next few weeks and the topwater bite is still absent, this is the low down on what has produced the most keepers: Soft plastics on the bottom and cb's at the riprap, before sunrise is best for both, afterward resort to textbook flipping and pitching to brushpiles and other wood. Keep those topwaters readily rigged though because when it's on .... it's on!
