OTHER THAN THE OLD SPINNER BAIT I CATCH THE MOST FISH ON A TEXAS RIGGED 6" ZOOM LIZZARD. MOST PEOPLE GET AWAY FROM THE LIZZARD TOO EARLY IN THE YEAR IN MY OPPINION. IT WILL CATCH FISH YEAR ROUND BUT AS WE ALL KNOW IT IS DEADLY IN EARLY SPRING. TRY GOING BACK OVER THE WATER YOU FISHED WITH A SPINNER, WITH A LIZZARD, AND SEE IF THAT DOSEN'T PICK YOU UP A FEW MORE FISH. THE BASS ARE SEEING ALOT OF BAITS OVER AND OVER THIS TIME OF YEAR SO SOMETHING DIFFERENT MY BE THE TICKET! BE SURE TO MAKE A FEW CAST TO ANY YELLOW FLOWERS YOU COME ACROSS ALONG THE BANK AS THEY WILL STILL HOLD A FEW FISH ON CLOUDY DAYS. STAINED WATER =GREEN PUMPKIN OR RED SHAD, CLEAR OR CLEARING WATER, JUNE BUG SEEMS TO ALWAYS WORK FOR ME.

GOOD LUCK! Cool

No luck at all on a spinner bait. Got a 2 1/2 pound bass on a 6 inch watermelon seed lizard. it was hangin out under a willow in about 2 ft of water on the Big Sandy.

Sure was fun--hope to go again after work sometime this week
