Heading up to Paris Landing from Arkansas tomorrow. Hope to fish early both Saturday and Sunday morning. Anyone know of any hot spots around the Paris Landing area or of any certain color lures to use.

Thanks,

Randy

Well, I'm way behind on this one. But, better late than never.

Carolina rigged baby brush hogs work well on the underwater humps, or if the water is high and in the bushes.

The creeks just north of the Paris Landing Marina are good areas. For that matter, the creeks down south on the east side are good also (Leatherwood, Standing Rock, etc.) You can also catch largemouth up in the Big Sandy.

If you catch the bass schooling in the backs of the creeks early in the morning then buzzbaits, rapalas and other top waters work very well. Usually not the biggest fish back there schooling, but still fun.

Hope you had a good trip. Let us know how it went if you get a chance.
