Just wanted to see what's happening on the bass scene. Am coming up this week for some crappie and bass fishing, if the bass are doing anything right now.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Haven't been out yet but hope to go Friday. Hear the water temp is moving up and that should bring them in some.

Wish there were more posts to the Bass board. I like to catch anything but don't enjoy trolling at all, so I mostly bass fish. We always fish the Big Sandy and have a blast even if we don't catch much.

Got a new (used) Bass boat this year and need to get it wet!! Sombody let us know where they are biting!

We didn't get to bass fish from the boat due to the wind. But, took the kids down to sulphur creek one afternoon fishing off the bank and caught a pretty nice bass. It was up in two to three feet of water. Looks like a few have moved shallow already. This cold front could hurt them a little. After a few more warm days in a row it should be time to get some shallow bass.

Went out Sat morn the 18th but too cold and windy. The water is still too low to hit the shallow bays and get out of the wind. Hate to tear off a prop on the stake beds and stumps! Ck'd out the weater site and the wind is supposd to lay down for sat this weekend. temps should be stable during the day for a few days. still darn cold and the water looks to be staying around 355 at the dam. still shallow in the bays.
