We just got back from the Big Sandy. We had the best day ever. My partner and I do not spider rig and only fish with one pole per person, so we do not do as well as others who do I suspect. We cast 2 inch grubs on 1/16 ounce jigs mainly. We caught 72 keeper crappie and kept 60. Another 10 or so throwbacks. 50% were 12-14 inches in length. All white crappie. They were in 1.5-3 FOW along the shore mostly. Some on shallow mats Caught another 50 to 60 fish of other species. Water temp was 68 initially and finished around 74. My partner will filet them tonight and tell me the male to female count. Most appeared to be males.
