Didn't have any luck sunday in the West Sandy area. Tried everywhere from 15ft - 4 ft. of water. From the looks of other boats, they were having similar results. I think the draw down scattered them. I heard reports from anglers in the main lake - who caught over 30 - say their catch had already dropped eggs.
Where abouts did you catch yours?

I just got back as well. My brother and I had our limit by about noon on Sat. On Sunday, we had 40 at 1:00 and headed home. We caught ours in about 5-8 ft of water, but did catch a few casting into the bank real shallow. I talked to a couple of guys down there today that had 34 by 10:00 this morning. I beleive the best fishing is starting up right now! Good luck!

We had a good trip last Wed., Thurs. and Friday. Three of us caught 209 and one of those days there were only 2 of us in the boat. We were long lining and catching them in 5' to 10' of water.

I am going again this Wed-Fri.

I catch more 9 15/16" fish that I care to admit

I just got another report from 3 guys who caught their limit pretty quick yesterday. I think im heading down Friday and Saturday. I hope they are still biting like that. Slabmaster, I thought you caught most of your fish in about 1 ft. of water snagging them.

Me and two other guys had 62 on the 29th, and had 70 at lunch time on the 30th and had to go home. The fishing is definitly not over. Many fish still had eggs and were caught in 5-8 ft of water.
