Got up Saturday morn. went to spillway.First time ever there.Easy to find.It will look like a car lot up and down 69A before you get into big sandy.Better get there at or before daylight.Me and my son squeeezed right in.Guy and wife right beside me was working on his second 5gal. bucket full,i was right beside him and didnt catch even one.My son was casting and catching skip jack almost every catch no crappie.Alot of people were catching good crappie.Waited till the boy had his fill and cut out.

well at least you know where it is now..that place is kinda like danville sittin on the rocks..the guy next to can be wearing them out..you can be 20ft away and not get nothing..you have to move..till you find the hot spots..and carry a handheald gps with you to mark the spot for the future..mark the spots that people are catching them in..and get there first..good luck

The lady at had-a-call store told me.Stay on 69A going toward big sandy,had-a-call store on left, keep going approx.3-4miles you'll come straight to it. I really dont like that type fishing, but i did enjoy watching my son,he got alot of action. You could tell alot of people new each other.

Yeah me too...

I have done some spillway fishing before and it's too crowded for me..Hard to complain when someone crosses your line cause there is not alot of bait control with all the water rushing through...

I perfer to put my choice of flies in my hat..not my neighbors ..especially when it is attached to his rod....
