IT'S ON HIGHWAY 79 JASON. GO TO THROUGH SKULLBONE TO TREZVANT,TAKE A LEFT AT THE FOUR WAY, AND DRIVE TILL YOU GET TO THE WATER. THATS PARIS LANDING STATE PARK. THE ROCKS AROUND THE BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER IS WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR. AND YES YOU CAN FISH AT NIGHT. YOU CAN PARK OVER BY THE MARINA AND WALK DOWN THE BANK.

Try shrimp - the frozen kind that you would buy at the grocery. Soak them in water to let them thaw, the cats love it!!

I'm a big fan of shrimp too. Don't hear of many people using them. They're one of the easiest baits to use and no mess. They also stay on the hook very well. No need to keep checking your bait.

I'll keep a few out in the boat to heat up and stink a little more and keep the rest in the cooler. That way if you don't catch any fish, you've still got something to eat Wink. If you don't use them or eat them just put them back in the freezer and you're ready for the next trip. Only takes a couple of minutes under cold water to thaw.

Thanks for the info guys going to give that a try I used shrimp in florida before worked well I found that beef liver cut about 1in squres works great stays on the hook but if has to be frozen and you have to get it from a meat market is ok to use blue gill for bait in tennessee or goldfish thanks for all help Jason

You might try New Johnsonville @ the steam plant. Usually at night around the end of April, people start catching a lot of catfish. You will need a reliable boat and motor to get in there. You must access by the main river channel via Lucas Harbor. Channel can have some strong current at times.
