Well, I just wanted to get back on here. My wife and I finally got to go. I have been checking everything out on this board. I decided to go after the Big Blue gills and shellcrackers. We kept a combination of 43 and had a blast and a good mess of fish. We, also, like to see that bobber do that disappearing act. We were fishing the cove to the left side of the cow pasture in West Sandy. We were casting in and if we had no strike, we would slowly start reeling in the line. We would go slow enough that the bobber would stay upright. Almost everytime it would trigger a strike. Some good news! (I caught 3 catfish in the shallows on crickets) You talk about fun! Ultralight rod and reel, 4lb test.My wife even caught a couple straggler crappie. Just a good time. I have my kids this weekend, so I hope to go back and bait alot of hooks and take off alot of fish this weekend. Good luck to all.

Hey Pappacrappie, if I come down to Big Sandy this weekend and wanted to try out Swamp Creek, Which of the launch ramps would you put in if you were me? I would be coming from Nashville via Clarksville.
